According to Julie Lopez of Roam Belize, whale sharks congregate during the full moons in April, May and June at the Gladden Spit off the coast of Placencia to feed on jack and snapper spawn, and it is the perfect time for snorkelers and divers alike to swim with these majestic creatures.
Gladden spit is about an hour away from Placencia Village and the tours will include 2 tanks for divers and 2 swim for snorkelers.
